Sustainable Public Art - Artist Opportunity
FrancisKnight is inviting expressions of interest from artists with a strong interest in sustainable practice, material reuse, and collaborative making to participate in a new pilot project: Sustainable Public Art.
We are looking for an artist who:
- Has an interest in or established sustainable and environmentally responsible practice
- Enjoys collaborative working and interdisciplinary dialogue
- Is excited by the creative potential of waste or salvaged materials
- Has experience in public art, socially engaged practice, or site-responsive work
- Can communicate ideas clearly through drawings, models, or prototypes
- Can contribute to research, workshops, and development meetings
Location: To be confirmed
Project Duration: 6 months, starting October 2025
Fee: To be confirmed, in line with Artist Union Rates, including research, concept development, and workshop time
