Nick Papadimitriou is an experienced topographic writer with a background in environmentalism, science writing and poetry.
'Psychogeography, as a category of contemporary literature, attracts a considerable audience. My work is a development on from this in that it focuses less on the metropolis and more on the margins of the city'.
FrancisKnight helped Nick to apply for and subsequently be awarded a Grants for the Arts towards his book Scarp.
Scarp is a surrealistic and poetic survey of a belt of high ground to the immediate north of London (the North Middlesex escarpment). The book combines local history, ecology and fantasies about the scarp.
