Stories of Leysdown

We want you to tell us a story …

Leysdown is being given a fresh soundtrack thanks to your voices and your stories.

An online reservoir of stories about your life and memories of Leysdown, as well as stories about the past, present and the future of the area is to be filled.

We want to hear from residents, visitors, workers, walkers, bird-watchers, swimmers, sailors, readers, painters, neighbours, older people, young people, historians, computer buffs, cooks, adventurers, dreamers, doers, players, go-getters, curious-minded people, inspired people and even bored people. In short, if you have a tale about Leysdown then we want to hear it!

Everyone is welcome to put their story into the collection.
